welcome to my blog! For those of you just visiting for the first time, welcome!   My name is julie weaver and I am a Southern California based photographer. I have been a professional photographer for the past 10 years and have specialized in weddings and portraits.

Having a family of my own, I understand the importance of capturing those little moments that seem to flash before our eyes....the quirky smiles, the scrunchy noses, the temper tantrums, the interaction that takes place between you and your child....and even those wonderful teenage years...it's priceless and gone before you know it!  I am THAT person who gets to capture those silly and precious moments that you love so much. That's why I absolutely LOVE my job!

Thanks for stopping by!

Now that summer is in full swing, I am finally coming up for air!  The past few weeks have been very busy :: teaching photography at Webb (LOVING IT!), preparing for some incredible senior shoots, getting prepared for our Get tha Funk Out Workshop, and most importantly, spending time with my family!

It's always a game of juggling trying to balance everything in our lives...but when I sit back in my chair on my front porch at the end of the day, I feel accomplished and overwhelmingly blessed to have what I have.  I'm not speaking of material possessions, but I am talking about what really matters:: my family and my friends, and the relationships that make me who I am as a human being. My children teach me something every day, and their smiles and kisses keep me going.
No, it's not an easy climb, but when you reach your destination, there's nothing better...

Here's to a relaxing weekend of counting our blessings....and because a post is waaayyy more interesting with pictures, here are some of my favorite little munchkins ever...
