I am so excited to announce my first ever casting call for children between the ages of 4-8. As some of you may know, I am part of an amazing photography workshop called "Get tha Funk Out" in which we (4 fab & funky photogs) are holding (check out our site here). In this workshop, we are holding a live photo shoot for our attendees. We are recruiting young children, high school seniors, a family, and an engaged couple. I am in charge of recruiting the darling children!
I KNOW there will be so many cuties to choose from, but here are some general characteristics I am looking for:

Everytime I think about how great our Get tha Funk Out workshop is going to be, it literally puts a great big smile on my face and am humbled by the fact that we are almost completely booked for this event. We have such an amazing group attending!
Anyway, Last week the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) contacted us. They had heard some really great buzz about our upcoming workshop and wanted to add us to their list of upcoming workshops. OMG...really? Heck yeah!!!! When we got this list and saw our names on it…we were smitten, to say the least! I think if we had all been together at that moment we heard the news, would've held hands and jumped up and down like school girls! We are so honored to be added to this highly coveted list of professional photographers such as Barb Uil, Lena Hyde, Brianna Graham, Audrey Woolard, JB Sallee, and Amy Wenzel . For those of you non-photographers….these names are HUGE! These are like the biggest names in children’s photography and we are on a list WITH them! WE have arrived!!!
So as I continue my day with a BIG huge smile on my face, I want you to remember that dreams really do come true. Work hard and be motivated!

Julie,
(05.25.09)I am Kim Williams (Tatman's) sister-in-law. She told me about your recruiting little ones and wanted me to offer up my 3 and 5 year old. They are beautiful little hams, just like Aunt Kim. Charlie is a 3 yr. old brown hair, blue eyed girl and Trevor is 5 with the same coloring. Kim or I can send you photos if you are still looking. Have a great day!
