welcome to my blog! For those of you just visiting for the first time, welcome!   My name is julie weaver and I am a Southern California based photographer. I have been a professional photographer for the past 10 years and have specialized in weddings and portraits.

Having a family of my own, I understand the importance of capturing those little moments that seem to flash before our eyes....the quirky smiles, the scrunchy noses, the temper tantrums, the interaction that takes place between you and your child....and even those wonderful teenage years...it's priceless and gone before you know it!  I am THAT person who gets to capture those silly and precious moments that you love so much. That's why I absolutely LOVE my job!

Thanks for stopping by!

It has really been a very long time since I have blogged, but I have been working very hard getting all of my holiday card templates ready for you to see! There are about 40 to choose from here.  I am offering 5x5 flat and folded as well as 5x7 flat or folded cards.  If you see some flat ones that you like but wish they could be folded (or vice-versa) please let me know!  Chances are I can make it work for ya! Please enjoy the slideshow!  After you view it, feel free to hit the "Browse Gallery" icon to view the cards/info in more detail. Enjoy!

Aaron and Leslee were so much fun to hang out with and get to know!  We had few different locations and started super early, so we made the best of it and even took a couple of breaks to enjoy a cold drink in between as we were waiting for the sun to come down! We stared out in downtown La Verne by the University of La Verne, because that is where their relationship evolved from friendship into a very special relationship between the two of them! Some fun and colorful pictures! the best light of the day..... Can't wait until your wedding next month! Many more laughs to come!!!!

How am I going to choose??? That is the common question I have been getting at my order sessions with my portrait clients....What should I order?  Where am I going to hang these?  I need help!!!! I absolutely love meeting with my clients for their order session.  We sit down, watch their children's amazing slideshow and relive the fun from our photo session!  Then we talk about their needs for reprints and how they are going to display their images. Here are some display options that I design for my clients before I meet with them to give them ideas of how to  display their images, whether they are canvas prints or framed collages.... The Simple Style Canvas Gallery: The Clean & Classic Framed Gallery: The Mix & Match Framed Gallery: OR....many of my clients are just LOVING this storyboard canvas.  If they are having a hard time deciding on the images because they love so many of them, I suggest this: Happy Thursday!

One of the highest compliments for me is when a past wedding client comes back to me to document their next journey in life...starting a family. Katie and Chris got married 5 years ago. I just loved their wedding day, and their family and friends were so sweet and welcoming to me. I am honored to begin the documentation of this journey. Katie and Chris will be welcoming baby molly in the next couple of months, so stay tuned for some really beautiful newborn portraits with mommy and daddy!

These are great Julie, the first one is my favorite, hoe cute would that be to have that print on a large canvas in the baby's room... That baby is going to be adorable
